For entertainment, visitors can “get their kicks” at a variety of attractions including the Route 66 Museum Complex and the beautiful Centennial Carousel located at Ackley Park. This area also features a miniature golf course, swimming pool and the Beutler Brothers Rodeo Arena, which hosts one of the longest running rodeos in the state with the Rodeo of Champions every Labor Day weekend.

For city slickers who want to “cowboy up”, the Flying W Guest Ranch just west of Elk City, offers fun for the whole family from the little buckaroo to the professional cowboy and cowgirl. The featured location of CMT’s Cowboy U, the ranch also contains the largest bison kill site in the Southern Plains. Guests can take trails rides to the excavation site or have an old fashioned authentic dinner on the chuck wagon.
